Beautiful proper Kalahari game breeding farm in the Northern Cape, can also be utilized as hunting farm. Located only 75 Km. from Kathu Airfield. Kathu is a booming Mining town near Sishen with golf course and all modern amenities. Kathu is located on the N14.

The farm has beautiful Kalahari grassland, dunes and Camel thorn trees (A RED DATA PROTECTED SPECIES), SAND YELLOW WOOD and grassland, sandy soil in the low-lying areas. Carrying capacity is 15 Ha. per large livestock unit. Game has a much smaller footprint. Whole farm newly game fenced with 40 Km. 2,4-meter 20 strand fence with Bonnox and fox/stock proof and adhere to the Dept of Environment game fence specifications. The Kalahari-East water pipeline supplies water to the farm and two newly drilled boreholes, 2500 liters and 4000 liters per hour and a repaired windmill. 17Km. of new pipelines delivers the water to 8x 5000-liter water tanks and 3x iron dams. Water is distributed by a new 17 km. pipeline to 17 water troughs throughout the farm at strategic places.

Improvements are a renovated 4-bedroom homestead of 190 sq. meters and a one-bedroom flat of 90 sq. meters, staff accommodation, a raised vegetable garden,3-vehicle carport, gym, solar battery room, cattle kraal and chicken run as well as the old ablution block. The average rainfall is 350 mm. per year with very hot summers and cold but short winters. Occasional frost occurs.
No erosion is visible, and no land claims is known.

One must take into consideration that it is now lamb/calf season till December.
Game numbers can change considerably till December.
A final game count will be done if a final contract is entered into.
